नैच्छन्ति विनिर्गमं गृहाद्धुन्वन्ति श्रवणान्खुरानपि । पशवः पशुवच्च कुक्कुरा यद्यम्भः पततीति निर्दिशेत् ॥ २८-०९ ॥

sanskrit

If the sheep should be found reluctant to go out, if they should shake their ears or kick with their legs or if dogs should be found to do the same, there will be immediate rain.

english translation

naicchanti vinirgamaM gRhAddhunvanti zravaNAnkhurAnapi । pazavaH pazuvacca kukkurA yadyambhaH patatIti nirdizet ॥ 28-09 ॥
