तरुशिखरौपगताः कृकलासा गगनतलस्थितदृष्टिनिपाताः । यदि च गवां रविवीक्षणं ऊर्ध्वं निपतति वारि तदा न चिरेण ॥ २८-०८ ॥

If the blood-sucker (lacerta cristata) should be found to stare at the sky from the tops of trees, or if cows should raise up their heads and look at the Sun there will be immediate rain.

english translation

taruzikharaupagatAH kRkalAsA gaganatalasthitadRSTinipAtAH । yadi ca gavAM ravivIkSaNaM UrdhvaM nipatati vAri tadA na cireNa ॥ 28-08 ॥
