श्रवणे मघाअनुराधाभरणीमूलेषु दश चतुर्युक्ताः । फल्गुन्यां पञ्चकृतिः पुनर्वसौ विंशतिर्द्रोणाः ॥ २३-०७ ॥
If there should be a fall of rain when the Moon passes through Śravaṇa, Maghā, Anurādhā, Bharaṇī and Mūla, the quantity of subsequent rainfall will be 14 droṇas. If when through Pūrvaphālguni, the quantity will be 25 droṇas; if when through Punarvasu, the quantity will be 20 droṇas.
