उदगायतो महान्स्निग्धमूर्तिरपरोदयी वसाकेतुः । सद्यः करोति मरकं सुभिक्षं अप्युत्तमं कुरुते ॥ ११-२९ ॥

sanskrit

Vasā Ketu is a comet which lies with its head towards the north; it is of large size, glossy and appears in the west. When it appears there will be immediate deaths in the land but prosperity in the end.

english translation

udagAyato mahAnsnigdhamUrtiraparodayI vasAketuH । sadyaH karoti marakaM subhikSaM apyuttamaM kurute ॥ 11-29 ॥
