द्विपंचरन्ध्रलाभानां ज्ञेयं पणफराभिधम्‌। त्रिषष्ठभाग्यरिष्फानामापोक्लिममिति द्विज॥ ३४॥

The Kendras are specially known, as Lagn (the ascendent), Bandhu Bhava, Yuvati Bhava (the descendant) and Karm Bhava (mid-heaven). Dhan, Putr, Randhr and Labh Bhava are Panapharas (succedents), while Sahaj, Ari, Dharm and Vyaya Bhava are called Apoklimas (cadents).
