राशयस्तु घटीतुल्याः पलार्धप्रमितांशकाः। योज्यमौदयिके भनौ घटीलग्नं स्फुटं हि तत्॥ ८॥
The product so arrived in Rāśis, degrees and minutes be added to Sūrya‟s longitude, as at sunrise, to get the exact location of Ghati Lagn. So say Maharishis, like Narada.

rAzayastu ghaTItulyAH palArdhapramitAMzakAH। yojyamaudayike bhanau ghaTIlagnaM sphuTaM hi tat॥ 8॥
