सूर्ये बलसमायुक्ते निजवर्गबलैर्युते । तस्मिन्दाये महत् सौख्यं धनलाभादिकं शुभम् ॥ ८॥
if at the time of birth Sūrya is in his own Rāśi, in his exaltation Rāśi, in a Kendr, in Labh, be associated with the Lord of Dharm, or the Lord of Karm and strong in his Varg.

sUrye balasamAyukte nijavargabalairyute । tasmindAye mahat saukhyaM dhanalAbhAdikaM zubham ॥ 8॥
