एवं महादशारम्भो भवेदंशाद्यथा क्रमात् । गणयेन्नवपर्यन्तं तत्तदायुः प्रकीर्तितम् ॥ ९१॥
The result will indicate the expired period of the Dasha in years, months etc. By deducting it from the total number of years allotted, we get the balance of Dasha at birth. The Dasha should be taken, as commencing from that Rāśi.

evaM mahAdazArambho bhavedaMzAdyathA kramAt । gaNayennavaparyantaM tattadAyuH prakIrtitam ॥ 91॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपदस्य भुक्तघट्याद्यैः स्वाब्दमानं हतं ततः । भभोगांघ्रिहृतं भुक्तं भोग्यं मानाद् विशोधितम् ॥ ९२॥
Multiply the past Ghatikas, Palas etc. of the present Pad of the Nakshatr by the number of years and divide the product by the fourth part of Bhabhog. The years etc. so obtained may then be deducted from the total Dasha period. The result will be the balance of Dasha at birth in years, months etc.

padasya bhuktaghaTyAdyaiH svAbdamAnaM hataM tataH । bhabhogAMghrihRtaM bhuktaM bhogyaM mAnAd vizodhitam ॥ 92॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptचन्द्राङ्कांशकला भुक्ताः स्वाब्दमानहता हृताः । द्विशत्या भुक्तवर्षाद्यं ज्ञेयं भोग्यं ततो बुधैः ॥ ९३॥
The past Kalas (minutes) of the Navāńś, in which Candr may be placed, should be multiplied by the years, allotted to the Dasha and the product should be divided by 200. The resulting years etc. will be the expired portion of the Dasha. By deducting them from the total number of years the balance of the Dasha at birth is obtained.

candrAGkAMzakalA bhuktAH svAbdamAnahatA hRtAH । dvizatyA bhuktavarSAdyaM jJeyaM bhogyaM tato budhaiH ॥ 93॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसव्याख्ये प्रथमांशो यः स देह इति कथ्यते । अन्त्यांशो जीवसंज्ञः स्याद् विलोममपसव्यके ॥ ९४॥
In the Savya Chakr the first Ańś is called Deha and the last Jiva. The opposite is the case in the Apsavya Chakr.

savyAkhye prathamAMzo yaH sa deha iti kathyate । antyAMzo jIvasaMjJaH syAd vilomamapasavyake ॥ 94॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदेहादिं गणयेत् सव्ये जीवादिमपसव्यके । एवं विज्ञाय दैवज्ञस्ततस्तत्फलमादिशेत् ॥ ९५॥
Therefore the calculations should be based on the Deha etc. in the Savya Chakr and on the Jiva etc. in Apsavya.
