रात्रौ लग्नाश्रिताद्राशेर्दिने लग्नेश्वराश्रिताम् । सन्ध्यायां वित्तभावस्थान्नेया चक्रदशा बुधैः ॥ ५०॥

If the birth is at night, the Dasha will commence from Lagn Rāśi. If the birth is during the day, the Dasha will start from the Rāśi, in which the Lord of Lagn is placed.

rAtrau lagnAzritAdrAzerdine lagnezvarAzritAm । sandhyAyAM vittabhAvasthAnneyA cakradazA budhaiH ॥ 50॥
