अकारादीन् स्वरान् पञ्च प्रथमं विन्यसेत् क्रमात् । कादिहान्तांल्लिखेद् वर्णान् स्वराधो ङञणोज्झितान् ॥ १९१॥
Beginning from Akaradhi 5 Swaras (a, i, u, e, o), write underneath them the Varnas in 6 lines. Leave out the letters „ňa‟, „ña‟ and „ņa‟, because they are not used in names.
english translation
akArAdIn svarAn paJca prathamaM vinyaset kramAt । kAdihAntAMllikhed varNAn svarAdho GaJaNojjhitAn ॥ 191॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतिर्यक् पंक्तिक्रमेणैव पञ्चपञ्चविभागतः । न प्रोक्ता ङञणा वर्णा नामादौ सन्ति ते नहि ॥ १९२॥
If they are found in any name, „ga‟ may be substituted for „ňa‟, „ja‟ for „ña‟ and „da‟ for „ņa‟ for working out the Dashas and making predictions.
english translation
tiryak paMktikrameNaiva paJcapaJcavibhAgataH । na proktA GaJaNA varNA nAmAdau santi te nahi ॥ 192॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptचेद् भवन्ति तदा ज्ञेया गजडास्ते यथाक्रमात् । यत्र स्वरे स्वनामाद्यवर्णः स्यात् तत्स्वरादयः ॥ १९३॥
In this manner the Swar, under which the first Varna of the name of the native is found, will determine the order of the Dashas of the five Swaras.
english translation
ced bhavanti tadA jJeyA gajaDAste yathAkramAt । yatra svare svanAmAdyavarNaH syAt tatsvarAdayaH ॥ 193॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptक्रमात् पंच दशाधीशाः द्वादशद्वादशाब्दकाः । स्वराणां च क्रमाज्ज्ञेयाः दशास्वन्तर्दशादयः ॥ १९४॥
Dashas are of 12 years for all the five Swaras. In the Dasha of every Swar there will be Antar Dashas of all the five Swaras in the same order.
english translation
kramAt paMca dazAdhIzAH dvAdazadvAdazAbdakAH । svarANAM ca kramAjjJeyAH dazAsvantardazAdayaH ॥ 194॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपूर्वमेव मया प्रोक्ता वर्णदाख्या दशा द्विज । इदानीं शम्भुना प्रोक्ता कथ्यते योगिनी दशा ॥ १९५॥
Maharishi Parashar said. O Brahmin! I have already given you the description of Panch Swar Dasha. Now I will acquaint you with the Yogini Dasha, as described by Lord Mahadeva.
english translation
pUrvameva mayA proktA varNadAkhyA dazA dvija । idAnIM zambhunA proktA kathyate yoginI dazA ॥ 195॥
