मित्रगेही मित्रयुक्तो मित्रेण च विलोकितः । गुरुणा सहितो यश्च मुदितः स प्रकीर्तितः ॥ १६॥

If a Grah is in a friendly Rāśi, or is yuti with, or receives a Drishti from a benefic, or is yuti with Guru, it is said to be in Mudit Avastha.

रविणा सहितो यश्च पापा पश्यन्ति सर्वथा । क्षोभितं तं विजानीयाच्छत्रुणा यदि वीक्षितः ॥ १७॥

If a Grah is yuti with Sūrya and receives a Drishti from, or is yuti with a malefic, or receives a Drishti from an enemy, it is said to be in Kshobhit.

येषु येषु च भावेषु ग्रहास्तिष्ठन्ति सर्वथा । क्षुधितः क्षोभितो वापि तद्भावफलनाशनः ॥ १८॥

The Bhavas, occupied by a Grah in Kshudhit, or in Kshobhit, are destroyed.

एवं क्रमेण बोद्धव्यं सर्वभावेषु पण्डितैः । बलाऽबलविचारेण वक्तव्यः फलनिर्णयः ॥ १९॥

The learned should estimate the effects, due to a Bhava, in the manner, cited above, after ascertaining the strength and weakness.

अन्योन्यं च मुदा युक्तं फलं मिश्रं वदेत्पुनः । बलहीने तदा हानिः सबले च महाफलम् ॥ २०॥

Weak Grahas cause reduction in good effects, while stronger ones give greater effects.
