तदा स्वमात्रशेषः स्यादन्ये नश्यन्ति सोदराः । तृतीये लाभगे केतौ बहुलं भगिनीसुखम् ॥ ३६॥
If Śani is alone in one of the said Bhavas, the native will be spared, while the co-born will die. Ketu in the 3rd, or the 11th will give abundant happiness from one‟s sisters.
english translation
tadA svamAtrazeSaH syAdanye nazyanti sodarAH । tRtIye lAbhage ketau bahulaM bhaginIsukham ॥ 36॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआरूढात् षष्ठभावस्थे पापाख्ये शुभवर्जिते । शुभसम्बन्धरहिते चौरो भवति जातकः ॥ ३७॥
Other Matters from Lagn Pad (up to Sloka 43). If the 6th from Lagn Pad is occupied by a malefic and is bereft of a Yuti with, or a Drishti from a benefic, the native will be a thief.

ArUDhAt SaSThabhAvasthe pApAkhye zubhavarjite । zubhasambandharahite cauro bhavati jAtakaH ॥ 37॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसप्तमे द्वादशे स्थाने सैहिकेययुतेक्षिते । ज्ञानवांश्च भवेद् बालो बहुभाग्ययुतो द्विज ॥ ३८॥
If Rahu is in the 7th, or the 12th from Lagn Pad, or gives a Drishti to one of the said Bhavas, the native will be endowed with spiritual knowledge and be very fortunate.

saptame dvAdaze sthAne saihikeyayutekSite । jJAnavAMzca bhaved bAlo bahubhAgyayuto dvija ॥ 38॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptआरूढे संस्थिते सौम्ये सर्वदेशाधिपो भवेत् । सर्वज्ञस्तत्र देवेज्ये कविर्वादी च भार्गवे ॥ ३९॥
If Budh is in Lagn Pad, the native will Lord over a whole country, while Guru will make him a knower of all things. Śukr in this context denotes a poet/speaker (also see Ch. 29, verse 30).

ArUDhe saMsthite saumye sarvadezAdhipo bhavet । sarvajJastatra devejye kavirvAdI ca bhArgave ॥ 39॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptउपारूढात् पदाद् वापि धनस्थे शुभखेचरे । सर्वद्रव्याधिपो धीमाञ्जायते द्विजसत्तम ॥ ४०॥
O excellent of the Brahmins, if benefics occupy the 2nd from Upa Pad, or from Lagn Pad, the native will be endowed with all kinds of wealth and be intelligent.

upArUDhAt padAd vApi dhanasthe zubhakhecare । sarvadravyAdhipo dhImAJjAyate dvijasattama ॥ 40॥
