Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra
पञ्चस्विष्टफलं चाद्यात् समं षष्ठे ततः परम् । अशुभं त्रिषु विज्ञेयमिति शास्त्रेषु निश्चितम् ॥ १०॥
A Grah is considered auspicious in the first five of the said places. In the sixth place it is neutral, i.e. neither good nor bad. And in the other three places it is inauspicious.

paJcasviSTaphalaM cAdyAt samaM SaSThe tataH param । azubhaM triSu vijJeyamiti zAstreSu nizcitam ॥ 10॥
