तिग्मांशुर्जनयत्युषेशसहितो यन्त्राश्मकारं नरं भौमेनाघरतं बुधेन निपुणं धोकीर्तिसौख्यान्वितम् ॥ क्रू रं वाक्पतिनान्यकार्यनिरतं शुक्रेण रङ्गायुधै- र्लाब्धस्वं रविजेन धातुकुशलं भाण्डप्रकारेषु वा ॥ १४-१ ॥
The Sun joined with the Moon produces a person creating stone products and machines. With Mars, delighted in sin. With Mercury; clever, possessed of intelligence, fame, and comfort, and cruel. With Jupiter, engaged in the work of others. With Venus, one’s own profit with weapons for a field of battle. Or with Saturn, skilled in metallurgy in the variety of vessels.

The Moon with Mars, business of bottled liquor and fraudulent women and unlucky from the mother. With Mercury; polite speech, skillful means, and possessed of fame and good fortune. With Jupiter; heroic, leader of a group, fickle minded, and a lord of wealth. With Venus, skillful in the business, etc. of clothes. With Saturn, child of the virgin widow re-married.

When Mars is with Mercury, one is a merchant doing business with collections of roots, etc. and oils and a wrestler. When with Jupiter; one is a superintendent of a city, ruler of people, has wealth that is acquired, or a Brahmin. When with Venus, one is a herdsman, athlete, clever, delighted in the young women of others, and a gambler. When with Saturn, one is afflicted with difficulty and joined to falsehood, and despicable.

With Saturn, one is skillful in illusion and a transgressor. When Jupiter is with Venus; one is to be understood as well-informed, possessed of wealth and wife, and having many good qualities.
