ईर्ष्युर्विदेशनिरतोऽध्वरुचिश्च रज्ज्वां मानी धनी च मुशले बहुकृत्यसक्त: ॥ व्यङ्ग: स्थिराढ्यनिपुणो नलज: स्त्रगुत्थो भोगान्वितो भुजगजो बहुदु:खभाक्स्यात् ॥ १२-११ ॥

When there is a Rajju (rope) yoga; one should be jealous, be delighted in going abroad, and have the desire to travel. When there is a Mushala (pestle) yoga; one should be possessed of pride, possessed of wealth, and attached to much work. One born of Nala (reed) yoga; should be crippled, steadfast, rich, and clever. Born of Sraj (garland of flowers) yoga, one should be possessed of consuming. Born of Bhujaga yoga, one is joined to excessive unpleasantness.

आश्रयोक्तास्तु विफला भवन्त्यन्यैर्विमिश्रिता: ॥ मिश्रा यैस्ते फलं वद्यु रमिश्रा स्वफलप्रदा: ॥ १२-१२ ॥

But those mentioned Ashraya yogas mingled with (looking like) others, they (the Ashraya yogas) are fruitless. By which those (the Ashraya yogas) resemble, they (the others) should give the result. Unlike those (others), those (Ashraya yogas) give their own result.

यज्वार्थभाक्सततमर्थरुचिर्गदायां तद्वृत्तिभुक्छकटज: सरुज: कुदार: ॥ दूतोऽटन: कलहकृद्विहगे प्रदिष्ट: शृङ्गाटके चिरसुखी कृषिकृद्धलाख्ये ॥ १२-१३ ॥

When there is a Gada (club) yoga, one is always eager for wealth and joined to wealth and worship. One born of Shakata (cart) yoga; enjoys the business of that, suffering pain, and having a bad wife. When there is a Vihaga (bird) yoga; one is a messenger, wandering, and creator of strife. A Shringataka (a mountain having three peaks) yoga is indicated, one possesses happiness lasting a long time. When a Hala (plough) yoga is indicated, one is creator of a harvest (a farmer).

वज्रेन्त्यपूर्वसुखिन: सुभगोऽतिशूरो विर्यान्विताऽप्यथ यवे सुखितो वयोऽन्त: ॥ विख्यात्कीर्त्यमितसौख्यगुणश्च पद्मे वाप्यां तनुस्थिरसुखो निधिकृन्न दाता ॥ १२-१४ ॥

When there is a Vajra (thunderbolt) yoga; one is highly favored from possessing happiness initially and in the end, very heroic, and also possessed of strength. When there is a Yava (barley) yoga, one is happy and energetic throughout life. When there is a Padma (lotus) yoga, one has a quality of boundless comfort and renowned fame. When there is a Vapi (pond) yoga; steady comfort in the body, creator of hoards, and not a giver.

त्यागात्मवान्क्रतुवरैर्यजते च यूपे हिंस्त्रोऽथ गुप्त्यधिकृत: शरकृच्छराख्ये ॥ नीचोऽलस: सुखधनैर्वियुतश्च शक्तौ दण्डे प्रियैर्विरहित: पुरुषोऽन्त्यवृत्ति: ॥ १२-१५ ॥

When there is a Yupa (sacrificial post) yoga, one is composed with renunciation and one worships with the best sacrifices. When a Shara (arrow) yoga is indicated, one is a creator of arrows, a prison officer, and mischievous. When there is a Shakti (power) yoga; one is vile, lazy, and deprived of comforts and wealth. When Danda (rod) yoga, one is separated from the beloved and are of base condition.
