स्वोच्चसंस्थे बुधे लग्ने भृगौ मेषूरणाश्रिते ॥ सजीवेऽस्ते निशानाथे राजा मन्दारयो: सुते ॥ ११-११ ॥
When Mercury is situated in one’s own exaltation in the lagna, Venus is situated in the 10th house, with Jupiter and the Moon in the 7th house, and when Saturn and Mars are in the 5th house; there is a royal.

अपि खलकुलजाता मानवा राज्यभाज:किमुत ! नृपकुलोत्था: प्रोक्तभूपालयोगै: ॥ नृपतिकुलसमुत्था: पार्थिवा वक्ष्यमाणैर्भवति नृपतितुल्यस्तेष्वभूपालपुत्र: ॥ ११-१२ ॥
Even people born into low-class families become royal. How much more for those born into royal families with those royal (yogas) declared? Even if not a child of a royal it is like a royal among those, with those declared royals born into royal families.

उच्चस्वत्रिकोणगैर्बलस्थैस्त्र्याद्यैभूंपतिवंशजा नरेन्द्रा: ॥ पञ्चादिभिरन्यवंशजाता हीनैर्विवत्तयुता न भूमिपाला: ॥ ११-१३ ॥
With three or more of those with power situated in exaltation, one’s own, or (mula)trikona there are lords of the people born in the families of royals. With five, six, or seven; those are born of other families. Without those joined to power, there are no guardians of the earth.

लेखास्थेऽर्केजेन्दौ लग्ने भौमे स्वोच्चे कुम्भे मन्दे ॥ चापप्राप्ते जीवे राज्ञ: पुत्रं विन्द्यात्पृथ्वीनाथम् ॥ ११-१४ ॥
When the Sun is situated in the crescent of the Moon, when the Moon is in Aries in the lagna, when Mars is in one’s own exaltation, when Saturn is in Aquarius, and Jupiter is in Sagittarius; one should recognize a child of a royal as a lord of the earth.
