पाकः फलानामामानां पक्वानां परिकोथनम्। द्रव्याणामार्द्रशुष्काणां स्यातां म्लानिविवर्णते॥९॥
Unripe fruits ripen (fast) and ripe ones become overripe and decomposed. Substances which are green and dry become dull in appearance and discolored., Soft food substances become hard and vice versa.
