यतो गतां गतिं विद्यादुत्सङ्गो यत्र यत्र च। तत्र तत्र व्रणं कुर्यात्सुविभक्तं निराशयम्॥२०॥

The pus path is determined, wherever the bulge (of the suppurated swelling) is found, therein the cut is done (cutting through the bulge of the wounds), creating a well cut, well cleaned, long and deep,

yato gatAM gatiM vidyAdutsaGgo yatra yatra ca। tatra tatra vraNaM kuryAtsuvibhaktaM nirAzayam॥20॥
