अशुद्धौ बलिनोऽप्यस्रं न प्रस्थात्स्रावयेत्परम्। अतिस्रुतौ हि मृत्युः स्याद्दारुणा वा चलामयाः॥४२॥
Srava pramana- Quantity of flow:- Vitiated blood more than one Prastha- (768 ml) should not be allowed to flow out, even in strong persons; Excess bleeding will lead to either death or dreadful diseases of vata origin.
