विध्येद्धस्तशिरां बाहावनाकुञ्चितकूर्परे। बद्ध्वा सुखोपविष्टस्य मुष्टिमङ्गुष्ठगार्भिणम्॥२८॥

The veins of the hand be cut, when the patient is sitting comfortably, keeping his arm straight without bending at all elbow, clenching the first with the fingers folded inside,

vidhyeddhastazirAM bAhAvanAkuJcitakUrpare। baddhvA sukhopaviSTasya muSTimaGguSThagArbhiNam॥28॥
