तर्जनीमध्यमाङ्गुष्ठैर्गृह्णीयात्सुसमाहितः। विस्रावणानि वृन्ताग्रे तर्जन्यङ्गुष्ठकेन च॥३१॥

with the help of index, middle fingers and the thumbs, carefully; for Visravana (draining), it should be held at the tip of the round wooden handle with the help of the index finger and the thumb;

english translation

tarjanImadhyamAGguSThairgRhNIyAtsusamAhitaH। visrAvaNAni vRntAgre tarjanyaGguSThakena ca॥31॥
