ब्राह्मे मूहूर्त उत्तिष्ठेत् स्वस्थो रक्षार्थमायुषः । शरीरचिन्तां निर्वर्त्य कृतशौचविधिस्ततः ॥१॥
1. PRATARUTHANA / GETTING UP IN THE MORNING Healthy person should get up from bed at Brahmi Muhurtha. That is, before dawn, or around 45 minutes before Sun rise, around 5 – 6 am. Last three hours of the night – from 3 am to 6 am – is known as brahma muhurta. 2-3 – DANTADHAVANA / CLEANING OF TEETH Keeping in view, the condition of his body, the individual should pass urine and faeces, clean teeth with any of the twigs of following herbs –

ब्राह्ममुहूर्त में जागना- -स्वस्थ ( नीरोग ) स्त्री-पुरुष को अपनी आयु (सुखायु - हितायु) की रक्षा करने के लिए प्रातःकाल ब्राह्ममुहूर्त में उठना चाहिए।उठते ही शरीर की चिन्ता से निवृत्त होकर अर्थात् मैं उठने योग्य हूँ या नहीं—ऐसा विचार करके यदि वह अपने को दिनचर्या करने योग्य समझे ।
