Astanga Hrudaya
स्नेहस्वेदौ प्रयुञ्जीत, स्नेहमन्ते बलाय च। मलो हि देहादुत्क्लेश्य ह्रियते वाससो यथा॥५८॥
Snigdha Virechana- done by fatty purgative, such as a castor oil. Or the fatty material is mixed with herbs. Such as Castor oil mixed with Haritaki. Rooksha Virechana – wherein dry purgative herb alone is given. For example, Trivrit Lehyam.
