बलकालदेशसात्म्यप्रकृतिसहायामयवयांसि । प्रविभज्य तदनुरूपं यदि पिबति ततः पिबत्यमृतम् ॥ ४१ ॥

sanskrit

He who drinks wine, considering carefully, the Bala – (strength his own and of the wine), Kala (season, time of the day and night), Desa (place of residing and of drinking), Satmya (accustomed or unaccustomed kind of drink), Prakriti (his own constitution), Sahaya (help from others), Amaya (disease he is suffering from) and Vayas (age), suitable to all these – actually drinks nector.

balakAladezasAtmyaprakRtisahAyAmayavayAMsi । pravibhajya tadanurUpaM yadi pibati tataH pibatyamRtam ॥ 41 ॥
