जन्मनैवोदरं सर्वं प्रायः कृच्छ्रतमं मतम् । बलिनस्तदजाताम्बु यत्नसाध्यं नवोत्थितम् ॥ ४६ ॥

sanskrit

All kinds of udara are by their very onset, are probably said to be very difficult to cure, those occurring in persons who are strong, which have not reached the stage of fluid formation and those of recent onset may get cured by great effort.

english translation

janmanaivodaraM sarvaM prAyaH kRcchratamaM matam । balinastadajAtAmbu yatnasAdhyaM navotthitam ॥ 46 ॥
