तत् कुलीनम् अपरुद्धं वा भूंय् एक देशेन उपग्राहयेत् ॥

or he may be made to incur the displeasure of wild tribes or of his enemies. or whoever among his nearest relatives is kept under guard may be promised a portion of his territory and set against him.

Or with the help of nobles and princes of the king's family, the minister may have the heir-apparent installed and show him to the public.
