विनीतो राज पुत्रः कृच्छ्र वृत्तिर् असदृशे कर्मणि नियुक्तः पितरम् अनुवर्तेत, अन्यत्र प्राण आबाधक प्रकृति कोपक पातकेभ्यः ॥
A PRINCE, though put to troubles and employed in an unequal task, shall yet faithfully follow his father unless that task costs his life, enrages the people, or causes any other serious calamities.

vinIto rAja putraH kRcchra vRttir asadRze karmaNi niyuktaH pitaram anuvarteta, anyatra prANa AbAdhaka prakRti kopaka pAtakebhyaH ॥

If he is employed in a good or meritorious work, he shall try to win the good graces of the superintendent of that work.
