शुल्कं स्त्री धनम् अशुल्क स्त्री धनायास् तत् प्रमाणम् आधिवेदनिकम् अनुरूपां च वृत्तिं दत्त्वा बह्वीर् अपि विन्देत ॥
Having given the necessary amount of sulka and property (strídhana) even to those women who have not received such things on the occasion of their marriage with him, and also having given his wives the proportionate compensation and an adequate subsistence (vritti), he may marry any number of women.
english translation
zulkaM strI dhanam azulka strI dhanAyAs tat pramANam Adhivedanikam anurUpAM ca vRttiM dattvA bahvIr api vindeta ॥

for women are created for the sake of sons.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptतीर्थ समवाये च आसां यथा विवाहं पूर्व ऊढां जीवत् पुत्रां वा पूर्वं गच्छेत् ॥
If many or all of them are at the same time in menses, he shall lie with that woman among them, whom he married earlier or who has a living son.

tIrtha samavAye ca AsAM yathA vivAhaM pUrva UDhAM jIvat putrAM vA pUrvaM gacchet ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतीर्थ गूहन आगमने षण् णवतिर् दण्डः ॥
In case of his concealing the fact of her being in menses or neglecting to lie with any of them after her menses, he shall pay a fine of 96 panas.
