न च अकामः पुरुषः कुष्ठिनीम् उन्मत्तां वा गच्छेत् ॥
If a man has no inclination, he may not lie with his wife who is either afflicted with leprosy or is a lunatic.
english translation
na ca akAmaH puruSaH kuSThinIm unmattAM vA gacchet ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस्त्री तु पुत्र अर्थम् एवं भूतं वा उपगच्छेत् ॥
But if a woman is desirous of having sons, she may lie with men suffering from such disease.
english translation
strI tu putra artham evaM bhUtaM vA upagacchet ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनीचत्वं पर देशं वा प्रस्थितो राज किल्बिषी । प्राण अभिहन्ता पतितस् त्याज्यः क्लीबो अपि वा पतिः ॥
If a husband either is of bad character or is long gone abroad or has become a traitor to his king or is likely to endanger the life of his wife or has fallen from his caste or has lost virility, he may be abandoned by his wife.
english translation
nIcatvaM para dezaM vA prasthito rAja kilbiSI । prANa abhihantA patitas tyAjyaH klIbo api vA patiH ॥
