Sushruta Samhita
कफः पित्तं मलः खेषु स्वेदः स्यान्नखरोम च । नेत्रविट् त्वक्षु च स्नेहो धातूनां क्रमशो मलाः ॥५२९॥
In the body, mucus (Kapha), bile (Pitta), and feces are the waste products of the respective elements: sweat, nails, and hair. The eyes, skin, and other secretions are sequentially eliminated as waste from the tissues.

शरीर में कफ, पित्त और मल क्रमशः स्वेद, नख और बालों के अपशिष्ट होते हैं। नेत्र, त्वचा और अन्य स्राव भी धातुओं के क्रमशः मल के रूप में निष्कासित होते हैं।
