Sushruta Samhita
आमं विदग्धं विष्टब्धं कफपित्तानिलैस्त्रिभिः । अजीर्णं केचिदिच्छन्ति चतुर्थं रसशेषतः ॥४९९॥
Food that is half-digested, burnt, or obstructed by the three doshas—Kapha, Pitta, and Vata—can lead to indigestion, as some believe, if it is in the form of the fourth taste.

जो भोजन आधा पच गया हो, दाहक हो, या कफ, पित्त, और वायु द्वारा अवरोधित हो, वह अजीर्ण उत्पन्न कर सकता है, कुछ लोग मानते हैं, यदि वह चौथे रस के रूप में हो।
