कटुतिक्तरसा हृद्या रोचनी वह्निदीपनी | सर्वदोषहरा लघ्वी कण्ठ्या मूलकपोतिका ||२४०||

1. A substance with a bitter and slightly bitter taste, that is pleasing to the heart, stimulates the digestive fire (Agni), and is effective against all doshas (Vāta, Pitta, Kapha). 2. It is light, beneficial for the throat, and is known as Mūlakapotika (a type of medicinal plant).

english translation

1. एक पदार्थ जो कड़वा और थोड़े कड़वे स्वाद वाला होता है, हृदय को प्रिय होता है, अग्नि (पाचन शक्ति) को उत्तेजित करता है, और सभी दोषों (वात, पित्त, कफ) के खिलाफ प्रभावी होता है। 2. यह हल्का होता है, गले के लिए लाभकारी होता है, और इसे मूलकपोतिका (एक प्रकार की औषधीय वनस्पति) के रूप में जाना जाता है।
