निवर्तते महाव्याधिः सहसा यस्य देहिनः | न चाहारफलं यस्य दृश्यते स विनश्यति ||६||

A person who suffers from a severe disease and suddenly experiences a reduction in their condition without showing any significant improvement in their appetite or health is likely to face death.

english translation

जो व्यक्ति गंभीर बीमारी से पीड़ित हो और अचानक उसकी स्थिति में सुधार हो जाए, जबकि उसकी भूख या स्वास्थ्य में कोई महत्वपूर्ण सुधार न हो, तो ऐसा व्यक्ति मृत्यु का सामना कर सकता है।

nivartate mahAvyAdhiH sahasA yasya dehinaH | na cAhAraphalaM yasya dRzyate sa vinazyati ||6||

एतान्यरिष्टरूपाणि सम्यग् बुध्येत यो भिषक् | साध्यासाध्यपरीक्षायां स राज्ञः सम्मतो भवेत् ||७||

A physician who thoroughly understands these signs of impending danger and evaluates the curability or incurability of the disease is considered worthy of praise by the king.

जो वैद्य इन संकेतों को अच्छी तरह से समझता है और रोग की उपचार्यता या अचिकित्स्यता का मूल्यांकन करता है, वह राजा द्वारा सराहा जाता है।
