यथास्वमेतानि विभावयेच्च लिङ्गानि मर्मस्वभिताडितेषु ॥ स्पर्शं न जानाति विपाण्डुवर्णो यो मांसमर्मण्यभिताडितः स्यात् ॥४०॥
The signs to be evaluated in cases of injuries to the vital parts (marmas) are as follows: If a person cannot feel touch and has a pale complexion, it indicates an injury to the fleshy vital parts.
