घोरा रुजो यस्य निशादिनेषु सर्वास्ववस्थासु न शान्तिरस्ति । तृष्णाङ्गसादौ श्वयथुश्च रुक् च तमस्थिविद्धं मनुजं व्यवस्येत् ॥३९॥

If there is severe pain that persists throughout the day, with no relief in any position, and accompanied by symptoms such as thirst, fever, and shivering, it indicates an injury to the bones. Such a condition should be managed with care.

english translation

यदि पूरे दिन भर गंभीर पीड़ा रहती है और किसी भी स्थिति में राहत नहीं मिलती, साथ ही प्यास, बुखार और कांपने जैसे लक्षण भी होते हैं, तो यह हड्डियों की चोट को दर्शाता है। ऐसी स्थिति को सावधानीपूर्वक प्रबंधित किया जाना चाहिए।
