अतः परं पञ्चधा विभज्यन्ते | तत्र वातस्य वातव्याधौ वक्ष्यामः; पित्तस्य यकृत्प्लीहानौ हृदयं दृष्टिस्त्वक् पूर्वोक्तं च; श्लेष्मण उरः शिरः कण्ठो जिह्वामूलं सन्धय इति पूर्वोक्तं च; एतानि खलु दोषाणां स्थानान्यव्यापन्नानाम् ||७||

Thus, further division is made into five types. Among them, the five types of Vata will be discussed in the context of Vata disorders. The locations of Pitta include the liver, spleen, heart, eyes, skin, and previously mentioned areas. For Kapha, its locations are the chest, head, throat, root of the tongue, and joints, as previously stated. These are indeed the locations of the doshas when they are not imbalanced.
