संसर्गे यो गरीयान् स्यादुपक्रम्यः स वै भवेत् | शेषदोषाविरोधेन सन्निपाते तथैव च ||३९||

Among the doshas in association, the most dominant one should be treated first. The remaining doshas should be managed according to their opposition. Similarly, in a state of aggregation, they should be dealt with.

english translation

संयोग में जो दोष अधिक प्रभावशाली हो, उसे पहले उपचारित करना चाहिए। शेष दोषों को उनके विरोध के अनुसार संभालना चाहिए। इसी प्रकार, संनिपात की अवस्था में भी उन्हें प्रबंधित करना चाहिए।
