कक्षं समासाद्य यथैव वह्निर्वाय्वीरितः सन्दहति प्रसह्य | तथैव पूयोऽप्यविनिःसृतो हि मांसं सिराः स्नायु च खादतीह ||१६||

Just as a fire, when it comes into contact with the air, burns fiercely, similarly, pus that is expelled will consume the flesh, veins, and nerves in the same manner.

english translation

जैसे आग हवा से संपर्क में आकर भयंकर रूप से जलती है, वैसे ही पपड़ी भी निकलते समय मांस, नसें और स्नायु को इसी प्रकार खा जाती है।
