शोणितबहुत्वेन वेदनया चान्यदेशविद्धमिति जानीयात्, निरुपद्रवतया तद्देशविद्धमिति ||४||

The pain caused by the piercing, due to the presence of blood, should be understood as being significant if the piercing is done in a different region from the usual, but if done in the usual area, it is considered to be without any trouble.

english translation

छेदन के कारण होने वाली पीड़ा, जो रक्त के कारण होती है, को यदि यह सामान्य क्षेत्र के अलावा किसी अन्य स्थान पर किया जाए तो महत्वपूर्ण माना जाता है; लेकिन यदि सामान्य क्षेत्र में किया जाए तो इसे कोई विशेष परेशानी नहीं माना जाता है।
