न निबन्धोऽस्ति गुल्मानां विद्रधिः सनिबन्धनः । गुल्माकाराः स्वयं दोषा विद्रधिर्मांसशोणिते ॥३०॥
A tumor (Gulma) has no internal binding, while an abscess (Vidradhi) is bound internally. The doshas themselves take the form of a tumor, whereas an abscess forms in the muscle and blood.
