यस्माल्लूनं तृणं प्राप्ता मुनेः प्रस्वेदबिन्दवः । तस्माल्लूतेति भाष्यन्ते सङ्ख्यया ताश्च षोडश ॥९३॥
Since the spider obtained the grass, the perspiration drops of the sage fell. Therefore, they are called 'lūta,' and their number is said to be sixteen.
