शिरीष वृक्ष जैसे विशिष्ट पौधों की जड़ों, फूलों, अंकुरों, छाल और बीजों से बना काढ़ा, त्रिकटु (तीन तीखे मसालों का मिश्रण) के साथ मिलाकर, तथा नमक और चीनी के साथ सेवन करने पर, विशेष रूप से कीट विष को प्रभावी रूप से निष्प्रभावी कर देता है।
