अत्युत्क्षिप्तेऽवसन्ने च नेत्रे पायौ भवेद्रुजा । विधिरत्रापि पित्तघ्नः कार्यः स्नेहैश्च सेचनम् ॥४॥

यदि प्रयोग के दौरान नली बहुत ऊपर या नीचे हो जाए तो मलाशय में दर्द उत्पन्न होगा। ऐसी स्थिति में पित्त को कम करने वाली औषधि का प्रयोग करना चाहिए, साथ ही तेल छिड़कना चाहिए।
