अत ऊर्ध्वं स्नेहपानक्रममुपदेक्ष्यामः- अथ खलु लघुकोष्ठायातुराय कृतमङ्गलस्वस्तिवाचनायोदयगिरिशिखरसंस्थिते प्रतप्तकनकनिकरपीतलोहिते सवितरि यथाबलं तैलस्य घृतस्य वा मात्रां पातुं प्रयच्छेत् । पीतमात्रे चोष्णोदकेनोपस्पृश्य सोपानत्को यथासुखं विहरेत् ॥१४॥

Now we will describe the process of administering the medicated oil. For a patient with a light constitution, on the occasion of the auspicious invocations made for wellness, one should administer the oil or ghee in a quantity that is suitable to the strength of the patient, while seated at the base of the mountain during the sunrise. After consuming the oil, one should bathe with warm water, and then enjoy the rest at their convenience.

अब हम औषधियुक्त तेल देने की विधि का वर्णन करेंगे। दुर्बल शरीर वाले रोगी को स्वास्थ्य के लिए किए जाने वाले मंगलाचरण के अवसर पर सूर्योदय के समय पर्वत की तलहटी में बैठकर रोगी की शक्ति के अनुसार तेल या घी देना चाहिए। तेल लेने के बाद गर्म पानी से स्नान करना चाहिए और फिर अपनी सुविधानुसार आराम करना चाहिए।
