An Oshadhi plant of the Brahma-Suvarchala species, is gold-coloured, abounds in milky juice, resembles a lotus plant in appearance, grows by the side of water (i.e., in marshy lands) and spreads in all directions.

ब्रह्म-सुवर्चला प्रजाति का एक ओषधि पौधा, सुनहरे रंग का, दूधिया रस से भरपूर, दिखने में कमल के पौधे जैसा, पानी के किनारे (अर्थात दलदली भूमि में) उगता है और सभी दिशाओं में फैलता है।
