रक्तो वा रक्तपित्ताभ्यामुत्पातः स गदो मतः । बलाद्वर्धयतः कर्णं पाल्यां वायुः प्रकुप्यति ॥७॥

This disorder is believed to arise from vitiation of blood or both blood and bile. When the ear is forcibly pulled, it aggravates the Vayu, leading to a disorder in the ear-lobe.

english translation

ऐसा माना जाता है कि यह विकार रक्त या रक्त और पित्त दोनों के ख़राब होने से उत्पन्न होता है। जब कान को जबरदस्ती खींचा जाता है, तो इससे वायु उत्तेजित हो जाती है, जिससे कान के लोब में विकार उत्पन्न हो जाता है।
