यष्टीनीलोत्पलैरण्डमार्कवैर्वा प्रलेपयेत् । इन्द्रलुप्तापहं तैलमभ्यङ्गे च प्रशस्यते । सिरां दारुणके विद्ध्वा स्निग्धस्विन्नस्य मूर्धनि ॥२९॥

"One should apply a paste made from licorice, blue lotus, and other herbs. The oil that alleviates pain from Indralupta is also recommended for anointing. After piercing the head with a sharp instrument, one should apply it to the area that is hot and oily."

english translation

"व्यक्ति को मुलेठी, नीले कमल और अन्य जड़ी-बूटियों से बना लेप लगाना चाहिए। इंद्रलुप्त के दर्द को कम करने वाले तेल को भी अभिषेक के लिए अनुशंसित किया जाता है। किसी तेज उपकरण से सिर को छेदने के बाद, उसे उस क्षेत्र पर लगाना चाहिए जो गर्म हो और तैलीय।"
