भुञ्जीतान्नं यवागूं वा पिबेत् सैन्धवसंयुताम् । अतिनिःस्रुतरक्तो वा भिन्नकोष्ठः पिबेदसृक् ॥५४॥

The patient should consume food like barley gruel or drink water mixed with rock salt. If there is excessive bleeding or a ruptured abdomen, he should drink water with blood.

रोगी को जौ के दलिया जैसा भोजन करना चाहिए या शिलाजीत के साथ पानी पीना चाहिए। यदि अत्यधिक रक्तस्राव या फटा हुआ पेट है, तो उसे रक्त के साथ पानी पीना चाहिए।
