पक्वे तु दुग्धहरिणीः परिहृत्य नाडीः कृष्णं च चूचुकयुगं विदधीत शस्त्रम् । आमे विदाहिनि तथैव गते च पाकं धात्र्याः स्तनौ सततमेव च निर्दुहीत ॥४७॥
In cases where suppuration has already occurred, an incision should be made in the affected area, while avoiding the milk-carrying veins and the nipple with its dark surroundings. For all instances of Stana-Vidradhi—whether non-suppurated, suppurating, or already suppurated—the milk should be expressed from the breast of the Dhatri.

जिन मामलों में पस बन चुका हो, वहाँ प्रभावित स्थान में एक ऑपरेशन किया जाना चाहिए, जबकि दूध लाने वाली नसों और काले परिवेश वाले निप्पल से बचना चाहिए। स्टना-वृद्धि के सभी मामलों में—चाहे वो गैर-पसयुक्त हों, पसयुक्त हों, या पहले से ही पसयुक्त हों—दूध को धात्री के स्तन से निकालना चाहिए।
