तत्रानिलोत्थामुपनाह्य पूर्वमशेषतः पूयगतिं विदार्य । तिलैरपामार्गफलैश्च पिष्ट्वा ससैन्धवैर्बन्धनमत्र कुर्यात् ॥१८॥

First, in the case of a fistula caused by Vata, the physician should apply poultices to open the pus completely. A paste made of sesame seeds and apamarga fruits, along with rock salt, should be used as a bandage in this condition.

वातजनित नाड़ी में सबसे पहले चिकित्सक को पूरे रूप से पूय को बाहर निकालने के लिए उपनाह का प्रयोग करना चाहिए। तिल और अपामार्ग फल का पेस्ट बनाकर, उसमें सैन्धव नमक मिलाकर इस स्थिति में बंधन करना चाहिए।
